Last Sunday, Steve Vouderis gave Dick Zigun and I a tour of the vault under the Wonder Wheel kiddie park. It was quite a treasure trove of props from Spookarama over the years. Here, Steve and Dick are inspecting a Mermaid that was made in the 30’s for a Coney Island Mardi Gras parade. It was fixed up in the 80’s and was in one of the first Mermaid Parades but is undergoing a new refurbishing to appear in this year’s 30th annual Mermaid Parade!
