The Mermaid Parade, America’s largest art parade is in danger of not happening this year! Coney Island USA, the not for profit arts center that created and puts on the event has sustained more than $450,000 in damages from Hurricane Sandy. They have mounted a Kickstarter campaign to raise the minimum $100,000 needed to put on this year’s parade. We need your help to carry on this Brooklyn tradition!
