3D Printing Tip of the Week: 3D Scan Cleanup Using Netfabb Basic to Prepare for 3D Printing

Its been a while since I’ve posted any 3D printing tips, so here goes! This video shows my workflow to clean up 3D scans made with my Scan-O-Tron 3000 rig using Netfabb Basic to prep them for 3D printing.

For reference, here’s links to those who are interested in my hardware designs. Shapeways liked my designs so much they have created their own fullbody scanning rig based on my hardware for Out of Hand show at the Museum of Arts and Design show in NYC.
