Scan-A-Rama Sideshow Portraits

I’m due to be in a Coney Island themed show at Yale University galleries this January. They want to place my 3D portraits adjacent to an Edward Kelty sideshow photo, so they want a similar grouping of performers. Maybe something like this would be good? WDYT?

A Boxfull of People headed to #Makerfaire!

James Taylor

James Taylor from Shocked and Amazed is in town for the Congress of Curious Peoples at Coney Island USA and I had the chance to scan him in his Victorian garb. I’m quite pleased with the results- see the raw scan on Vine here, and the finished 3D printed portrait below.

The Velvet Crayon

The Velvet Crayon is visiting Coney Island for Super Freak weekend and I had to do a 3D portrait of him.
