Thompson & Dundy’s Luna Park Rises Again!

It seems like I’ve been working on this for an eternity… I have finally installed the new tower in the Coney Island Museum! Yesterday I sanded it and glued on the remaining bits of moulding. The light was failing as a snapped off some pictures but I’m pleased.

The large Luna Part Electric Tower is being glued! I found I need two parts reprinted but here it is… All 19 layers of it – 118 3D prints plus trimming details. 3 months worth of work. I can hardly wait to see it assembled!

The Sideshow Cast -My 3D Printed Piece for Yale Art Gallery Show

The Yale exhibit opens next week. I’ve been busy 3d printing some of my favorite portraits of circus sideshow performers. For historical context, this piece will be exhibited alongside some classic Edward Kelty photographs. I can’t wait to see the installation.
